Mijin yarinya hausa novel part 1

"A village-girl-is-daring-me, I swear-she-will learn-her-lesson. She will know who she's talking to," he said, exhaling a heavy breath.

Hafiz, sitting and watching him, said, "Calm down, my man! Now, where did you meet this girl that made you so upset? And what exactly did she do to you?"

He took about five seconds before opening his eyes, then closed one in frustration. "She is my wife," he said.

Hafiz's eyes widened in shock. "What? Do you even know what you're saying? Your wife? Are you serious? When did you get married without telling me?"

Saif waited for his question to settle before answering, biting his lower lip slightly. "Yes. When I returned from America, Dad visited a village, and that’s where they matched me with her."

He then narrated the events that led to his marriage, including what Fatima did before he left the house.

Hafiz burst into laughter, holding his stomach. "Are you serious, man?"

Saif shot him a dirty look. "Oh, it’s funny to you, huh? That girl said she needs a massage. Can you imagine?"

He clicked his tongue in frustration and added, "May God forbid me from touching a girl who isn’t even 15 years old. What would I do with her? She's just a child! And you’re here suggesting I give her a massage? You must be out of your mind."

Hafiz, still amazed, said, "You mean she isn’t even 15, but she said that to you? My friend, this is what they call ‘a girl’s husband.’ Seriously, you need to stay strong and be patient." He tried to suppress his laughter, seeing the irritation on Saif’s face.

Saif shot him another sharp look. "It’s easy for you to laugh. Of course, it didn’t happen to you. I swear, if I want to, I’ll tell Mom to force you into marriage so you can feel my pain. And don’t let Baby hear about this!"

Hafiz laughed again. "Ah, the drama of love, my man. My advice? Stay calm, respect your parents, and let things play out. One-day, you’ll be-proud-of-your-decision."

Saif looked away in annoyance. "God-forbid I ever-love-that-village-girl. She doesn’t even have class, let alone grace."

Hafiz shook his head. "Hmm, take it easy, my friend. You might come back asking for advice one day."

Saif closed his eyes, exhaling deeply as if he had just run a race. After a moment, he said, "I’m leaving now. Let me greet Mom and head out."

Hafiz stood up quickly, laughing. "So you’re mad just because I told you the truth? May God calm your heart."

They both went to greet Mom. She was sitting and watching them. "Oh, welcome back, America’s finest! When did you return?"

Saif smiled. "Good morning, Mom. All is well."

After a brief conversation, they bid her farewell and left. Hafiz walked him to the parking space.

As Saif got into his car, Hafiz said, "Say hi to your bride for me. I’ll come to greet her soon. And send my regards to Mom too."

Saif-rolled-his-eyes, started his car, and-drove off.

On Ruky’s side, she entered the house to find Aunt sitting in the parlor with a stern face. Aunt looked at her angrily and said, "Ruky, who died that you’re bringing someone to greet me? Why can’t you be composed and responsible? Remember, you’re now an adult, and such behavior doesn’t suit you, especially as a woman."

Ruky glanced at her from head to toe, clicked her tongue, and said, "Come on, Aunt. Just because someone greeted you, you’re raising your voice? Whoever will be yours had better be ready." With that, she went upstairs with the clothes Saif had given her.

Aunt watched her with frustration, shaking her head. "May God guide you, Ruky. May He send someone who can handle you." She stood up and went to the kitchen, still shaking her head.

Ruky entered her room, threw her clothes on the bed, and sat down, thinking. How would she win over Saif? She was determined to marry him, for in her heart, she had already tasted his sweetness.

She remembered her friend, Sumy, and quickly picked up her phone, scrolling for her number. She called, and after two rings, Sumy answered, "Hello, dear! How are you doing?"

Ruky smiled. "I’m fine, dear. Are you home? I’m coming over. We need to talk."

Sumy chuckled. "Really? Okay, I’m waiting, dear."

Ruky ended the call, grabbed her car keys, and left the house. Aunt, still in the kitchen, heard her leave and shook her head. "I need-to-do something-about-this-girl. I must-find a solution."

On Fatima’s side, they finished tidying up their parlor. Everywhere was sparkling clean. They swept, mopped, lit incense, and sprayed air freshener, filling the room with a pleasant aroma.

Fatima looked around and said, "This place looks beautiful. It smells amazing too."

Sona smiled. "This is how it should always be. From now on, if you’re told to clean, this is how you’ll do it."

Fatima smiled and nodded in agreement. After locking up, they went to their room. Sona took a bath, performed ablution, and began her prayers.

Fatima, on the other hand, only performed ablution before joining her in prayer. When they finished, Sona dressed up and looked at Fatima.

"Go take your bath," she said.

Fatima grumbled but went to the bathroom. After bathing, Sona styled her hair, making it shiny and beautiful. Fatima was thrilled, admiring her new look.

Sona continued to praise her. "This hair looks amazing."

She handed Fatima some clothes Mom had given her the day before – blue jeans and a pink T-shirt. Wearing them, Fatima looked stunning, almost unrecognizable. Despite her youth, she had height and glowing skin that made anything she wore look good.

Sona took her phone and snapped several beautiful pictures of Fatima.

When they went back to the parlor, Mom, who was scrolling on her phone, looked up and was stunned. "Wow, my daughter! You look so beautiful!"

Fatima shyly lowered her head, smiling. "Thank you, Mom. May God bless and increase you."

Mom smiled and returned to her phone. Fatima and Sona sat, chatting.

Just then, Saif entered the parlor, greeting them. They all responded. When he looked up, his eyes met Fatima’s. He closed his eyes briefly, amazed at how beautiful she looked, unable to hide his surprise.
