"Auren Kwangila" follows the story of Sadiya, a young woman struggling to find a job after a series of unfortunate events, including a devastating flood that destroyed her home and claimed the life of her fiancé, Sirajo. Sadiya and her mother, Malama Uwani, are forced to move to Kano and live in a rented house. However, they face eviction as the landlords decide to sell the property.
Desperate for work, Sadiya applies to numerous companies, including Muntari and Sons Limited. The owner, Alhaji Muntari, takes an interest in her plight and proposes a contractual marriage. His terminally ill mother wishes to see him married again before she dies, and Alhaji Muntari needs Sadiya to fulfill this wish. He promises to provide for her and her mother without expecting a conventional marital relationship.
Initially hesitant, Sadiya eventually agrees due to their dire financial situation. The marriage goes smoothly, with Alhaji Muntari honoring his promises and Sadiya maintaining her integrity. Over time, Alhaji Muntari proposes to make their marriage permanent, which Sadiya accepts, leading to a genuine and lasting union. His mother, Hajiya Amina, lives to see her son happily married.
